Style guides live in wikis nobody opens. In DeSlop, your style is a few plain rules: how you sound, the words you never use, and the ones you always do. The engine swaps in your preferred words, steers the tone, and flags anything that still breaks a rule.

Rules, not vibes. Banned words, word swaps, sentence length, and contractions are checked on every draft. Tone steers the rewrite.
Share it with your team. Save your style as a small file and everyone writes to the same rules.
Rewrites are told not to add facts, examples, quotes, or numbers, and the engine rejects any that add numbers, links, or names you never wrote. When a sentence is vague, DeSlop asks you for the real detail rather than making one up.
It won't chase detector scores
The goal is writing a reader trusts, not beating a classifier. Detector scores aren't an input and aren't a metric.
It won't hide what it keeps
Local cleanup runs in your browser. Pro writing is never kept. Trial and Free rewrites keep the draft and result for 30 days, only after you agree, so we can evaluate and improve DeSlop. Analytics record counts, never text.
It won't fail silently
If a rewrite breaks a check, you get the local result and a plain reason. You never get a quietly worse draft.

It also confirms the rewrite didn't add numbers, links, or names you never wrote. It can't judge every claim or how ideas connect, so always give the result a read.
What is the voice score?
A before-and-after score built from a few specific checks: filler phrases, sentence rhythm, how varied your sentence openings are, and whether your style rules are followed. It's there to compare versions, not to grade your writing.
What happens to my writing?
The slop highlighting runs in your browser. When you ask for a rewrite, your draft and style settings go to DeSlop, and an AI model provider drafts the rewrite before our engine checks it. Your My Voice samples stay in your browser; with My Voice on, a summary of your style (numbers plus up to five of your most common opening words and five filler words) goes to DeSlop with the draft, and a shorter version reaches the AI provider. On the trial and the free plan, if you agree to contribute, submitted drafts and results are kept for 30 days after submission. DeSlop doesn't keep Pro writing; the AI provider processes each request under its own terms, and we ask providers not to collect data. The privacy policy has every detail.
Can my team share one style?
Yes. Save your style as a file, share it however you share files, and have everyone load it. In the workspace, your style is saved for your account in this browser. Synced team styles aren't built yet.
