Using DeSlop

Your writing

Submit only writing you have the right to share. You keep ownership of your writing. You allow us to process it to provide the rewrite you request, including through the services listed in ourprivacy policy.

Don’t submit confidential writing or sensitive personal information. Don’t use DeSlop to abuse the service or bypass account and usage limits.

Review your rewrites

Our suggestions can be wrong or change what you meant. Check facts, names, numbers, and meaning before using a rewrite. If we cannot produce a reliable edit, we may return your original writing.

Free use and Pro

Our pricing page lists the limits for anonymous, Free, and Pro use. Failed AI rewrites and unchanged results do not use your rewrite allowance. Separate request limits apply to prevent abuse.

Pro is a monthly subscription. Stripe handles payment and subscription management. You can cancel from your account; Pro access continues through the paid period.

Free use and writing contributions

To submit a rewrite anonymously or on our Free plan, you must explicitly agree that we can retain your submitted drafts and their results for 30 days to evaluate and improve our editing engine and prepare examples for training our writing models. Authorized reviewers may read these contributions. Contributing submitted writing is a condition of free rewrite use.

We do not use writing submitted on Pro for engine improvement or training. We process it temporarily to provide your rewrite. We do not collect unsent writing, saved drafts that you have not submitted, or raw My Voice samples.

You keep ownership of your writing. Your agreement allows the uses described above; it does not let us publish or sell your writing. Contributions are not automatically approved for training, and review does not extend their 30-day expiry.

You can stop contributing or delete contributed writing from the contribution settings in the editor or your account menu. Further free submissions require agreement again. Our privacy policy explains storage, access, expiry, guest-session limits, and deletion. These terms do not authorize collecting earlier submissions.

Using the API

API keys belong to your account. Keep them secret and use them only from your own servers, never in browser or mobile code. You are responsible for requests made with your keys. Revoke a key in your workspace if you think it has leaked.

API rewrites use your plan's daily rewrite allowance, and separate per-key request limits apply. On the Free plan, API rewrites require the same writing contribution agreement as the site. Text sent with a Pro key is never kept. Checks run on our engine only and never store your text. Our API docs list the limits and error codes.
